Exercise 2. What is a preposition? How many kinds has it? Give three examples of each.
Ans: A preposition is a word or a group of words placed before a noun or a pronoun to show its relation with some other noun or pronoun in the sentence.
     It has three kinds: Simple Preposition, Compound Sentence and Participial
Preposition.
     Simple Preposition: at, by, for, from, in.
     Compound Preposition: above, about, before, below.
     Participial Preposition: during, owing, pending
